CSR China Social Responsibility: Hands on Shanghai

The CSR Shanghai Office is linked with Hands on Shanghai which identifies the needs of local non-governmental organisations to create flexible volunteer programs for professionals in the workplace. They support local community organisations with direct donations, fundraising, community project design and implementation. In November 2010, CSR provided sponsorship for the Shanghai Wenhe Migrant Primary School, a private school built for children of migrant workers offering classes at special low tuition fees. Since August 2010, staff from the office helped design and run courses and leisure activities for students at the school, including a science related camp, programmes and trips to museums in the city.
